Most ByWard rooms operate on a food and beverage minimum based on date and time. Smaller groups can typically book on-consumption.

- Do you offer AV equipment or entertainment?
- Our larger room, Mother McGintey's, has a stage for speeches or entertainment, a wireless microphone and soundboard, and a large screen for slideshows and presentations. The front room has live music every night from 9 pm to 1 am. The back room runs live music Friday and Saturday (10 pm–2 am) and karaoke every Wednesday (10 pm–2 am). Nan's Parlour has a DJ every Friday from 10 pm to 2 am.
- What drink packages do you offer?
- We can arrange drink options to match your budget and style, including custom drink packages, drink tickets, housemade cocktails, a wine list, and a full selection of beer.
- Is there a minimum spend or room fee?
- Depending on the size of your group, we may reserve a private area of the pub. In some cases, a minimum spend applies. It's designed to be comfortably achievable based on food and drinks enjoyed during your event. No deposit is required. If the agreed minimum spend isn't met, a room rental fee may apply. Let us know whether you're planning a casual gathering or a more formal event and we'll guide you from there.
- Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
- Mother McGintey's entrance is wheelchair accessible through the courtyard; a ramp can be provided at entry and at the additional set of stairs leading into the space. The washrooms in the extension are not fully wheelchair accessible, but our team is willing to remove the partition in the men's washroom to accommodate guests as needed. The Black Rose is fully accessible, with a built-in accessible washroom. Guests can enter directly from Murray Street, through the patio, straight into the room. The Front Room is partially accessible with limited bathroom access. Nan’s Parlour is accessible with advance notice. A ramp can be provided for entry, and washrooms are accessible once inside. Unfortunately, The Snug Pub and the Old Kitchen are not accessible.
